SOUTHWEST Session:
Speaker at SOUTHWEST: Andrew Shone, Fusion Development Lead, Tokamak Energy Inc.
SOUTHWEST Session: The call to bring manufacturing back to U.S. soil has never been louder—but the question remains: Can our manufacturing sector meet the moment? This presentation dives into the reality behind the reshoring movement and explores the technological readiness of U.S. manufacturers to produce more efficiently, competitively, and sustainably. We’ll unpack where the gaps lie in digital adoption, automation, smart factory infrastructure, and skilled labor—and where forward-thinking manufacturers are already making big moves. Learn what it truly takes to modernize your plant, compete globally, and deliver on the promise of “Made in the USA.” In this session, we’ll cover the following: The current state of U.S. manufacturing technology adoption How automation, AI, and data are transforming the factory floor Challenges and solutions in bridging the tech and workforce gap What industry leaders are doing to future-proof their operations Practical steps to accelerate your technology readiness Whether you're a C-suite executive, IT leader, or operations leader this webinar will give you the insights and next steps you need to drive innovation and scalability in your manufacturing business.

SOUTHWEST Session: Join us for a town hall event designed for exhibitors and attendees to help shape the future of federal research and development in advanced manufacturing. SPECIAL REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED: Register Here Participants will share insights to help define the priorities for the 2026 – 2030 National Strategic Plan for Advanced Manufacturing, which guides Federal efforts to enhance the competitiveness of U.S. manufacturing. The plan is revised every four years to provide new federal priorities in advanced manufacturing research and development, aiming to create jobs, boost economic growth across various sectors, and strengthen national security. This town hall session augments an online Request for Information (RFI), enabling participants to voice their views and catalyze deeper input into priority areas. The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy has posted the complete set of questions in the Federal Register. The National Science and Technology Council’s Subcommittee on Advanced Manufacturing will manage the RFI process, and the NIST Office of Advanced Manufacturing will collect and analyze the information. Learn more here: White House Fact Sheet This exclusive town hall roundtable gives manufacturing leaders the opportunity to: Get a seat at the table with peers and policymakers Make your voice heard in shaping U.S. manufacturing priorities Provide deeper insights beyond the formal Request for Information (RFI) process.
Speaker at SOUTHWEST: David Paredes, Metals Application Engineer, Farsoon Technologies
SOUTHWEST Session: Transitioning from prototyping to serial production is the defining challenge in additive manufacturing today. This presentation by Farsoon Technologies Americas will demonstrate a clear pathway to achieving high-volume, cost-effective manufacturing using truly open and integrated 3D printing solutions. We will explore real-world success stories across key industries, including the production of civil aerospace components, high-performance shoe molds, Intricate 3C products, electronic motorcycle parts, athletic and sporting goods, and medical implants. These case studies will reveal how our open-system approach provides the flexibility and material choice necessary for serial production. The session will then delve into the specific technology innovations that make this possible. We will showcase how Beam Shaping optimizes material and processing capabilities, while the Support Reduction System (SRS) slashes post-processing time and material waste. Attendees will learn how fine laser spot printing achieves ultra-fine 0.05mm details for intricate parts, and how large-layer thickness printing drastically improves efficiency for less critical dimensions. We will also highlight specialized solutions like Auto-Grafting Technology for superior mold production. Join us to discover how the latest advancements 3D printing technology are delivering great ROI by reducing total manufacturing costs and unlocking the full potential of volume AM production.
